Article Publishing Charges (APCs)
The open access publication involves the payment of an article publishing charge (APC) by the author, their institution or funding body. The APC is related to the cost involved in each step of the publication process, and is used to make the article freely available for everyone.

We grant waivers or discounts of 50% to those articles all author groups are based in a country eligible for the Research4Life program.
Authors from Group A countries receive a 50% waiver, while those from Group B countries are granted a 25% discount.
